The SV Kids Guest Services Coordinator oversees all aspects of greeting, security, and check-in for weekend SV Kids services at Sun Valley Community Church (SVCC). This position recruits, onboards, trains, develops and schedules the teams of volunteers to assist with greeting, security, check-in, and the guest experience for all weekend services at assigned campus(es). The SV Kids Guest Services Coordinator is the liaison between the “New Here Start Here” Guest Services team and SV Kids to create a great experience for new families. In all actions, this role reflects the SVCC team leadership distinctives.
This role is approximately 15 hours per week and includes weekend requirements.
Recruit, onboard, train, and develop volunteer team members to provide a helpful, secure, and welcoming experience for our new and returning guests
Manage the weekly scheduling of volunteers
Encourage the volunteer teams through the development of fun, creative and relational team environments
Lead the teams each weekend at each scheduled service and during special events, as needed
Execute the vision of SV Kids through implementation and alignment with SV Kids constants and ongoing evaluation of environments
High School diploma or equivalent
Previous customer service experience working closely with and leading others
Demonstrates spiritual maturity and character consistent with the Biblical requirements for church leadership
