The Receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors, answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate employees, mail distribution, flow of correspondence and packages, and additional clerical activities, as requested. In all actions they reflect the SV team leadership distinctives.
This position is 28 hours per week (Mon-Thurs, 9am-4pm).
Screens guests through security video system before admitting into reception area.
Welcomes guests by checking them in and assigning visitors badges
Answers incoming calls within three rings and routes appropriately. Provides callers with information
such as address, directions, company phone numbers, company website, and other related information
Operates office machines, as required
Receives, sorts and distributes incoming mail. Prepares outgoing mail for pick up
Coordinates pick up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.) and other packages
Maintains tidiness of front office and reception area
Provides administrative and/or clerical support to Central Services staff, as needed
High school diploma or equivalent
One year of administrative experience
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
