The Data Systems Coordinator is responsible for performing data entry work using a personal computer and appropriate software; entering, updating, researching, verifying and/or retrieving data into/from various systems; and ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of information recorded. In all actions, reflects the Sun Valley Community Church (SVCC) team leadership distinctives.
This position is part-time, 28 hours per week and does not include weekend hours.
Run and distribute reports
Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Apply concepts such as
averages, percentages, ratios, and practical solutions
Assist in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions
Effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders
Assist in managing and maintaining all records in database system(s)
Attend regular meetings with staff and teams to develop processes, discuss issues, and troubleshoot
Assist Data Systems Director in providing mandatory system(s) training to staff
Assist with special projects as requested by Executive Team and/or Data Systems Director
High school diploma or equivalent Two years of experience with data entry and database applications Proficiency in 10-key, Microsoft Windows and Office Suite (specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other database applications Ability to multi-task and perform effectively under pressure Self-motivated, self-directed requiring minimal supervision Detail oriented, organizational skills, committed to excellence Effective verbal and written communications skills Maintain confidentiality Demonstrates spiritual maturity and character consistent with Biblical requirements for church leadership Agrees and aligns with the vision, values, pathway, leadership distinctives, and doctrinal statement of SVCC
