The Accounts Receivable Coordinator processes and manages donor contributions and other payments made to Sun Valley Community Church (SVCC) each week. This position also provides accounts receivable leadership for Campus Coordinators at all campuses and responds to inquiries from donors. In all actions they reflect the SVCC team leadership distinctives.
This position is 15 hours per week.
Scan and process donor checks and other receivables and prepare deposits that are received at Central Services office
Perform reconciliations of payments, donor accounts, deposits and banking detail for all campuses. Enter data into several systems and upload scanned check detail to bank for all campuses
Resolve any issues that may arise and communicate discrepancies to management team
Oversee campus coordinators for weekend offering counting and data entry process. Serve as backup for campus coordinators for weekend offering count and data entry
Handle donor relations through phone calls and emails. Assist donors with annual giving statements and other contribution details
Key contact for PEX card assistance, requests and data entry into accounting system
Participate in campus staff/team meetings
Organize and maintain files and backup
Assist Accounting and HR/Benefits departments with special projects, as requested
High school diploma or equivalent
Two years of experience in accounting and/or accounts receivable
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, data base and accounting software, 10 key
Ability to manage time and perform accurately and effectively under pressure
