The Communications Project Coordinator manages all central ordering for Sun Valley Community Church (SVCC) and performs a variety of tasks related to special projects as assigned, to include marketing campaigns, special orders, branding/design projects, and special events from start to completion, ensuring each person and/or ministry involved has what is needed to meet deadlines. In all actions, reflects the Sun Valley Community Church (SVCC) team leadership distinctives.
This position is part-time, 28 hours per week.
Receive all central ordering requests for all SVCC, including but not limited to, print, signage, and apparel. May assign print projects to Printing and Purchasing Coordinator as appropriate
Manage video projects as assigned (i.e. scheduling contractors, crew, room bookings, and ensuring each person involved is on task)
Create tasks in project management software and assign roles to ensure efficient completion and deadlines are met
Coordinate photography projects (i.e. schedule volunteers and work with Communication Team to ensure project is completed)
Track and organize documentation for Vendors, Contractors, and Budgets
Prepare organized, detailed projects reports for Director of Communications on monthly basis
High school diploma or equivalent
Two years of professional experience in communications environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Project Management software
Strategic and innovative, with ability to drive projects and strategies through to completion and streamline internal and external processes
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and quick deadlines
