POSITION SUMMARY
The Next Gen Exec Assistant provides high level administrative support for various components related to delivering an extraordinary experience for kids, students, and young adults at Sun Valley Community Church (SVCC). In all actions they reflect the SVCC team leadership distinctives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist Teaching Pastor with scheduling, project management, and communications
Provide high level administrative support for the SV Kids, SV Students, and Young Adult ministries centrally.
Type, design and distribute general correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, forms, procedures, supplies, etc. Proofread copy for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes.
Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy of team and parent correspondence
Coordinate efforts with SV Kids, SV Students, and Young Adults staff to support scheduling and communication through the Rock and Planning Center. Ensure and maintain integrity of communication to volunteers, students, and parents in the Rock
Maintain team database and track volunteers, ensuring information is current and accurate
Manage billing and payment processes for departments
Assist with coordinating teams for special events and assist with organizing and coordinating various elements of the annual SV Kids, SV Students, and Young Adults ministries camp season
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
One year of administrative experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, database application(s), and Google Docs
Effective communication skills, both verbal and in written for
Thorough, detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines
Collaboration skills, teamwork orientation, flexibility
Agrees and aligns with the mission, vision, leadership distinctives, and doctrinal statement of SVCC
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Two years of related experience
