 POSITION SUMMARY 
The Video Director works closely with other creative personalities on the Weekend Team as a positive, solution-focused leader. This position is responsible for video support and the development of media to expand the reach of Sun Valley Community Church (SVCC) in the community at large. In all actions, this role reflects the SVCC team leadership distinctives. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 
1. Video Production 
  • Lead alongside the Production & Audio Lead Director with planning, shooting, and producing of video content for weekend services, online, and in-person 
  • Assist in creating content for multiple ministries including life change videos, series bumpers, video announcements, and promotional videos 
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of volunteers to support video production
2. Live Production 
  • Train, schedule, evaluate, and lead a volunteer-based team in video roles for services/programs/events including camera operators and engineer/shader 
  • Responsible to review and test all video and media shown on the weekends at SVCC 
  • Oversee the capture, playback, and LiveStream processes at all SVCC campuses 
  • Implement and test full back-up system for message playback 
  • Capture and posting of all sermons; manage archival processes of the weekend and recorded media alongside Communications team 
  • Maintain video production room technology and equipment at all SVCC campuses 

3. Miscellaneous Duties 
  • Foster a shared SVCC standardized experience and workflow throughout all campuses 
  • Participate in the creative process for series development, weekend review and planning meetings 
  • Manage video budget with creative video team 
  • Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to existing equipment 
  • Make recommendations and provide clear direction for future spaces and upgrades 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and earned degrees and/or other training that has equipped them for the duties of the role 
  • Five years of full-time proven video expertise experience 
  • Experience with ProPresenter, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premier, Ross and ForA Switchers, AJA routers, networking; and Google Office Suite 
  • Ability to manage budget 
  • Demonstrates spiritual maturity and character consistent with the Biblical requirements for church leadership 
  • Effective interpersonal and relational skills; proficiency in communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Self-motivated, self-directed requiring minimal supervision 
  • Teamwork orientation with ability to recruit, train, lead and motivate others 
  • Agrees and aligns with the mission, vision, leadership distinctives, and doctrinal statement of SVCC
