The Global Outreach Coordinator provides project management support for the Global Outreach Director and Global Outreach Teams. This position builds and implements systems that support the annual mobilization of 10% of the weekend attendance of Sun Valley Community Church (SVCC) on short-term Global Outreach trips.In all actions they reflect the SVCC team leadership distinctives.
This position is part-time at 28 hours per week.
Provide project management for all aspects of short-term international teams including, but not limited to marketing, onboarding participants, travel, in-county logistics (lodging, food, transportation, security and healthcare, financial, team fundraising, ministry projects, and communications)
Train short-term Global Outreach team leaders to effectively lead their teams in-country
Build a consistent SVCC short-term outreach experience for all participants engaging in a project with SVCC, no matter where they serve in the world, by preparing teams spiritually and logistically
Assist campus Next Step teams to help identify and engage short-term participants to take their next step in their relationship with Jesus, by utilizing short-term trips as a step on an individual’s spiritual path and not a destination
High school diploma or equivalent, and other training that has equipped them for the duties of this role
Demonstrates spiritual maturity and character consistent with the Biblical requirements for church leadership
Two years of project management experience
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite and database applications
Effective relational and communication skills, both verbal and written
