Global Outreach Coordinator | Central Services - All Campus Support | Part-time

Position Status: Part-time

Position Summary:

The Global Outreach Coordinator provides project management support for the Global Outreach Director and Global Outreach Teams. This position builds and implements systems that support the annual mobilization of 10% of the weekend attendance of Sun Valley Community Church (SVCC) on short-term Global Outreach trips.In all actions they reflect the SVCC team leadership distinctives.

This position is part-time at 28 hours per week.  


Essential Functions:
  1. Provide project management for all aspects of short-term international teams including, but not limited to marketing, onboarding participants, travel, in-county logistics (lodging, food, transportation, security and healthcare, financial, team fundraising, ministry projects, and communications)
  2. Train short-term Global Outreach team leaders to effectively lead their teams in-country
  3. Build a consistent SVCC short-term outreach experience for all participants engaging in a project with SVCC, no matter where they serve in the world, by preparing teams spiritually and logistically
  4. Assist campus Next Step teams to help identify and engage short-term participants to take their next step in their relationship with Jesus, by utilizing short-term trips as a step on an individual’s spiritual path and not a destination 

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and other training that has equipped them for the duties of this role
  • Demonstrates spiritual maturity and character consistent with the Biblical requirements for church leadership
  • Two years of project management experience
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite and database applications
  • Effective relational and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Self-motivated, self-directed requiring minimal supervision
  • Thorough, detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to drive projects and strategies through to completion
  • Teamwork orientation with ability to motivate others
  • Agrees and aligns with the vision, values, pathway, leadership distinctives, and doctrinal statement of SVCC

Preferred Qualifications:

Three or more years of related experience
