The Next Gen Administrative Assistant provides administrative support for all components related to delivering an extraordinary experience for kids and students at Sun Valley Community Church (SVCC). In all actions they reflect the SVCC team leadership distinctives.
This position is approximately 6 hours per week.
Provide administrative support for the SV Kids and SV Students ministries at assigned campus. Type, design and distribute general correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, forms, procedures, supplies, etc. Proofread copy for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy of team and parent correspondence
Coordinate efforts with SV Kids and SV Students staff to support volunteer scheduling and communication through the Rock and Planning Center. Ensure and maintain integrity of communication to SV Kids and SV Students volunteers, students, and parents in the Rock
Maintain team database and track volunteers, ensuring information is current and accurate
Record and track attendance spreadsheets for weekly SV Kids and SV Students services, camps, events, and trips
Manage billing and payment processes for departments
Assist with coordinating teams for special events and assist with organizing and coordinating various elements of the annual SV Kids and SV Students ministries summer season
Assist with follow up on connecting new families into SVCC
High school diploma or equivalent
One year of administrative experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, database application(s), and Google Docs
Effective communication skills, both verbal and in written form
Thorough, detail oriented with strong organizational skills
